저는 과학기술정책대학원에서 과학철학을 가르치는 부교수로 재직 중입니다. 추측을 동반하는 탐사적 과학기술에 있어 과학적 모델의 수립 및 이용, 그리고 그러한 연구가 야기하는 윤리적, 사회적 영향에 관심을 두고 있습니다. 제 저작물은 주로 화학 분야에서의 과학적 모델을 다루고 있지만 최근에는 독성학과 생의약학 분야에서의 새로운 발견을 연구하고 있습니다. 저는 새로이 출현하는 형태의 과학기술이 혁신과 관련된 여러 가치와 비전을 형성하고 또 그로부터 형성되는 과정을 추적하고 있습니다.

저는 University College London Department of Science and Technology Studies에서 박사후 연구원으로 일했고, 이스탄불에 위치한 Boğaziçi University에서 인문학을 가르친 후 2010년에 카이스트로 오게 되었습니다. 현재 학부생을 대상으로는 Philosophy of Science, Applied Ethics for Public Policy, Utopia and Distopia(과학기술이 불러오는 미래에 대한 다학제적이고 멀티미디어적인 탐구)를 가르치고 있습니다. 대학원생을 대상으로는 Philosophy of Science Policy, the Ethics and Governance of Emerging Technologies를 가르칩니다. 또 과학기술정책 부전공프로그램을 담당하고 있습니다.
